Norine Dandridge Richter

Norine Dandridge Richter, 92, of Grantsboro, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center surrounded by family.

A woman of faith, she attended New Life Praise & Worship until her health declined. Her legacy of generosity and compassion for her eight children will forever be remembered.

Norine was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Nick” Richter; sons, Marvin, Ross and Allen Ward; two grandsons; and nine siblings.

Those left to treasure her memory are her sons, Johnny Ward (Rosie), Gerry Ward, and Billy Ward; daughters, Jackie Ward and Shannon Richter; daughter-in-law, Vicky Ward; sister, Nina Webster; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 5th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Sadler, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Ward Cemetery, adjacent to 4627 Kershaw Rd.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
