Patricia "Pat" Kathleen MacEachern Lewis

Patricia “Pat” Kathleen MacEachern Lewis, 89, of Arapahoe, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Pat was born to the late Neil and Ann MacEachern and lived a life marked by devotion to family and a deep love for the water. She dedicated many years to working with children, serving as a teacher’s aide and bus aide at B.O.C.E.S. Occupational School in Sayville, New York, and later at Arapahoe Charter School. Pat’s caring nature, patience, and quiet encouragement left a lasting impression on the students and families she worked with.

Outside of her work, Pat found her greatest joy near the water. She loved the beach, the sound of waves, and spent every weekend she could out on the boat. Being on the water brought her peace and happiness, and those moments became some of her most cherished memories.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Ann MacEachern.

She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Gordon Lewis; her sons, Gordon Lewis, Wyatt Lewis, Ian Lewis, and Ted Lewis; her brother, Neil MacEachern; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and a beloved daughter of the heart, Chanel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to one’s favorite charity.
