Patsy Barrow Barnes

Patsy DeAon Barrow Barnes, 76, of Reelsboro passed away on Sunday November 26th at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudie and Reba Barrow of Vanceboro, and infant daughter Kimberly. She is survived by her husband, Edmond Ray Barnes; daughters, Rhonda Tillman (Curtis), Billie Jo Scott, Tina Barnes, and Jennifer Barnes; sons, Matthew (Carolyn) Scott, Travis Barnes, Ashley (Mary) Barnes; brother, Harry Mike Barrow (Janet); and many much-loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a blessing to all who knew her and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbor, and friend. A genuine, compassionate, sincere and loving woman who loved the Lord with all her heart, loved her family no matter what, loved her church family, and freely offered food, love, and hugs to everyone she met. Many of her work years were in the healthcare field where she was equally loved by her patients and co-workers.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and those who cherish her memory will be repeating funny stories of her for years to come, laughing through tears.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2nd at Trent Original FWB Church in Merritt followed by a memorial service at 12:00 pm.
