Phillip Merl Banks

Phillip M. Banks, 80, of Arapahoe passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

A man of faith, Phillip was a member of Bethany Christian Church. He retired from the maintenance division of PCS Phosphate after 39 years of service. He was an avid hunter and gardener.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Leona Banks and sister, Dora Moritz.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Mary Banks; his children, Kip Banks, Sherry Wayne (Jamie), Phil Banks (Melissa), and Chad Banks (Asmir Dizdarevic); brother, Charles Banks (Martha); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service to honor Phillip’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 30th at Paul Cemetery, Arapahoe.

The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, September 29th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home.
