Preston Bell Salter

Preston Bell Salter, 95, of the Dawson Creek area passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillie B. Salter and son, Sonny Salter.

Preston is survived by his wife, Della W. Salter; daughter, Sheila Johnson & husband, Fred; five grandchildren, Sonny Wayne (Amy) Salter, Kristi Sawyer, Paula (Thomas) Davis, Fred (Tracy) Johnson, Jr. and Matthew (Alison) Johnson; 12 Great-Grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Palmer Stowe; step-children, Randy (Angie) Bell, Ronnie Keith Bell and Robin (Dean) Fulford; five step-grandchildren; and one step-great grandchild.

His memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 7 ^th at Grantsboro Church of God with the Rev. Steve Keesecker officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Grantsboro Church of God, 1565 NC Hwy 306 N, Grantsboro, NC 28529.
