Raymond Alexander Tingle, Sr.

Raymond A. Tingle, Sr., 94, of Oriental passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Oriental High School. He traveled the world with the U.S. Navy and Esso before returning home to farm, his lifetime passion.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dorothy Spruill Tingle; children, Julia Tingle, Linda Burton, and Raymond Tingle, Jr.; grandchildren, Ronald Burton, Jr. (Jessica), Carol Kirchhoff (Charlie), and John-Michael Harrison (Daniela); great-grandchildren, Ronald Burton III, Ray Burton, Clara Kirchhoff, Everett Kirchhoff, and Carter B. Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.

His graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 8 ^th at Oriental Cemetery.
