Rebecca Sue Lash Mitchell, 59, of Grantsboro passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at UNC Medical Center-Chapel Hill.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Elmo and Frances Lash; brother, Timmy Lash; and sister, Eunice Beaz.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, Johnnie Mitchell; son, Christian Mitchell; daughter, Lori Frances Mitchell; and grandchild, Brennen Blight.
A Celebration of Rebecca’s Life will be announced at a later date.
