Robena Midgett Walker

Robena Midgett Walker, 93, of Aurora passed away on January 9, 2022, at home.

The daughter of the late Leon Baynor and Mary Watson Midgett, she was born and raised in Lowland and graduated from Hobucken High School. She was blessed with one brother, Marion Leon Midgett and one sister, Evelyn Midgett Cahoon, both deceased.

She married Robert Dalton Walker – the love of her life – and they made their home in Small, near Aurora. They lived a wonderful life together for about 61 years before the Lord called Dalton home.

The Lord blessed their union with three loving daughters: Yvonne W. Swain and husband, John, Avonne W. Quinn and husband, Robert, and Patty W. Davis and husband, H.J. “Skip”; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Robena was a member of Mary’s Chapel Christian Church and served in several offices through the years. She loved the Lord, and she loved her church family and many friends.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 12 ^th at 3:00 p.m. at Mary’s Chapel Christian Church. Interment will follow immediately in James-Rowe Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
