Sadie Pittman Quidley

Sadie was born December 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Eva and Robert Pittman. She graduated from Oriental High School in 1948, then married her love, Dallas, in 1950. Together they built a legacy of love and faith throughout their 73-year marriage, raising two sons. She passed away peacefully July 20, 2023.

Sadie was preceded in death by her brother, James Pittman. She is survived by her husband, Dallas Quidley, Jr.; a sister, Dorothy Fleming; brothers, Bob Pittman (Carmen) and Tom Pittman (Nancy); sons, D. Edward Quidley, III (Susan) and Harold Quidley (Kathy); grandsons, Jason Quidley (Kim) and Aaron Quidley; great grandson, Theodore ‘Teddy’ Quidley; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at Daniels Sadler Funeral Home in Alliance, NC Tuesday, July 25, 2023, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. A service to celebrate Sadie’s life will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Daniels Sadler Funeral Home in Alliance, NC. Interment will follow immediately in Greenleaf Memoria Park, New Bern, NC.

Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the love and care given to her by her caregiver, Major Harvey.
