Samuel Lee Newman

Samuel “Sam” L. Newman, age 61, resident of Grantsboro, died on May 8, 2021 at CarolinaEast Medical Center. He was a mechanic millwright for 36 years for PCS Phosphate.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Bryant Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11:00AM at Silver Hill Christian Church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Sam is survived by his siblings: Frank and Kathy Newman, Tom and Karen Newman and Sue and Paul Pressey; child, Robbie Hopkins and one grandson, Jesse Speiser. He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Michelle Hopkins.
