Sandra Connor

Sandra Gaskins Connor, 82, of the Croatan Community, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

A devout Christian, she loved the Lord and attended Lighthouse Assembly of God until her health would not allow.

Sandra was very artistic, her passion was painting pictures for her family. She also loved working in her yard as long as she was physically able.

Sandra was a very supportive and caring person who never met a stranger. She was like a mom to many, including her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Doris Gaskins; husband, Amos Connor III; sister, Cherry Harris; brother-in-law, Toby Harris; brother, Jack McManus; sister-in-law, Mary McManus; sons-in-law, Alan Grushinski and Peter Zocco.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Eubanks; daughters, Judy Grushinski Zocco and Laura Malina (Ron); son, Amos Connor IV (Lisa); step-daughter, Sheila Eubanks (Ron); sisters, Margaret Jones (David) and Doris Demunck (Glenn); six grandchildren, Ronnie Malina Jr. (Shelly), Anna Grushinski, Shelly Bernhard (Philip), Melissa Kahihu (Job), Amos Connor V (Caroline), and Makayla Salter; seven great-grandchildren, Ronnie Malina III, Cole Malina (Caylie), Connor Malina, Adyson Bernhard, Wyatt Bernhard, Sam Spier, and Claudia Spier (Kyle); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Lighthouse Assembly of God with the Revs. Kenny McCoy and Kenny Connor officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Croatan Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Lighthouse Assembly of God, 401 US Hwy 70 W, Havelock, NC 28532.
