Sharlene Fritz Leary

Sharlene Fritz Leary, 67, of Lowland, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a very active member of Wardens Grove OFWB Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years. She loved the members of her church family and her community which was evident in the time she shared by singing and visiting at the local rest homes and by helping many children throughout the years to shape their crafts during Bible schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Leatha Fritz; brother, Dennis Spoon; and sister, Donna Bennett.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Arthur “Scooter” Earl Leary, Sr.; son, Earl Leary, Jr.; sister, Carolyn Willis; and sister-in-law, Mirlyn Spoon.

Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 20 ^th at Wardens Grove OFWB Church. Interment will follow immediately in Lowland Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church.
