Shelby Starling Wall

Shelby Christine Starling Wall, 84, of Grantsboro passed away Monday, October 3, 2022, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab.

She is a member of New Bethlehem FWB Church. Shelby was a life-long supporter, former secretary, and member of the Pamlico County Rescue Squad. She was also director of the Health Safety for the American Red Cross for three years where she taught EMT and CPR classes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mildred Starling; sister, Faye Mitchell; and son, Russell “Rusty” Timothy Wall.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Tim Wall; children, Richard Kevin Wall and Angela Rebecca Boatwright; brother, Larry Wayne Starling; sister, Doris Ann Crocker; grandchildren, Samuel Tyler Potter and Morgan Elizabeth Potter; and five great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to New Bethlehem FWB Church c/o Scotty Whitford, 1903 Scott Store Rd., Grantsboro, NC 28529.
