Shirley Dowdy Morris

Shirley Dowdy Morris, 89, of Mesic passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at home.

She has been a lifetime member of Bay Creek Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Vera Dowdy; husband, Howard Bruce Morris; brother, Ronald Wayne Dowdy; sister, Mary Alice Hudnell; and grandson, Sean Michael Morris.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are son, Bruce Wayne Morris (Theresa); daughter, Mitzi Barr; grandchildren, Christian Andrew Morris (Jen), Shannon M. Klienwolterink (Cody), Carey William Morris (Morgan), Chelsie Angela Morris, Daniel John Barr, and Matthew James Barr; and great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Madison, Elijah, Remy, Luke, Lily, and Sydney.

Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20th at Bay Creek Christian Church. Those wishing to speak with the family may do so immediately following the service at the church.
