Stephanie Ann Moore

Stephanie Ann Moore, 39, of Grantsboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at UNC Health-Wayne in Goldsboro.

Stephanie was a kind and gentle soul whose heart was full of love for others. She had a sweet spirit and a deep desire to be included, always cherishing the time and attention shared with those around her. Stephanie saw the good in life and in people, and her warmth left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Stephanie loved reading and could often be found with a good book in hand. Music was a constant companion in her life, bringing her comfort and happiness. She was also a devoted sports fan, especially when it came to cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes, a team she followed with great enthusiasm.

Stephanie had a special love for the beauty of eastern North Carolina. She enjoyed visiting the beach and taking in the peaceful scenery of the waterfronts. She delighted in watching the water and soaking in the calm surroundings of her hometown.

She also had a great love for her brother’s cat, “Cow Cat” and his dog, both of whom brought her much happiness and companionship.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Moore.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her father, Elwood Moore; her brother, Brad Moore and wife, Margaret; her cherished dog niece, Willow; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Dwayne Boyd officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Sandhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
