Trever Scott Hanel

Trever Scott Hanel, 26, of New Bern passed away suddenly, Sunday, August 23, 2020.

Trever was a diesel heavy equipment mechanic at Sackett Potatoes.

He is survived by his mother, Jennifer Dietz (Casey) Pittman; father, Scott (Bill) Hanel; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Hanel; maternal grandparents, Fred & Gail Dietz; brother, Aaron Foreman; sister, Ashlie Ryan Hanel; best friend, Hunter Harrison; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was referred to as “Dodo” by his niece and nephew, Alaina and Jameson who also survive him.
