Trudy Michelle Dunham

Trudy Michelle Dunham, 44, resident of Charleston, SC - native to Pamlico, NC, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021.

Trudy was born on September 26, 1977, in Charleston, South Carolina to Jimmy and Dolores Dunham. Trudy was the second oldest of her four siblings, Stewart Dunham, Kimberly Dunham Hiatt, and Matthew Dunham.

Trudy excelled in many different things at such a young age, which became transparent throughout the rest of her lifetime. Trudy was a free-spirited woman who was loved by all. She had the ability to crack a joke and make everyone laugh at any given time. She was adventurous, care-free, and outgoing with a heart of gold. She was an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, friend & mother to her sweet dog “Nugget”. Trudy had a passion for music, traveling, turtles and making the best of any situation. She impacted so many lives throughout the time she shared with us. Her way with words, her wisdom and her contagious laugh will be forever cherished. Trudy always said that her heart was divided between three different places; The Beach, The Mountains and Home.

Trudy is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ella Keel; parents, Jimmy & Dolores Dunham; great nephew, Avion Atkins; and several other family members and dear friends.

She is survived by her siblings, Stewart Dunham (Paula), Kimberly Dunham Hiatt (Jay) and Matthew Dunham (Heather); her nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Angel, Marley, Brianna, Bryce, Westin, Kevelynn, Kenly, Trent and Jacie; and her special friend, Michael Mabry.

A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 12 ^th at Bryant Funeral Home, 52 Bryant St., Alliance, NC 28509. A private burial will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
