In the comforts of her own home, Trudy White passed away peacefully January 7, 2025, following a yearlong battle with cancer. Trudy Fay Jordan was born March 2, 1963 in Newport News, Virginia.
As a graduate of Kecoughtan High school, Trudy remained in the Hampton Roads area for decades to come. She enjoyed riding horses and creating works of art in her early years, and married first husband, Jim Conner, father of beloved son, James. Later marrying second husband of 22 years, Charles “Chuck” White in 1992, where they lived in Poquoson, VA raising children James, Brad and Courtney.
Trudy was a devoted mother, spouse, friend, and homemaker. She developed a passion for gardening and always maintained a diversity of plants & trees around her property. She truly enjoyed the outdoors and sunshine whether it was yardwork, poolside, or enjoying the beaches of the Outer Banks. She was also an avid animal lover; her pets were always a staple in the household. Additionally, Trudy managed the business and sales aspects of side ventures pioneered by her spouse, Chuck. Initially, a motorcycle accessories store (Route 17 Motorcycle accessories) in Yorktown, VA, and later, an apparel store front at VIR in Danville, VA.
Trudy is proceeded in death by her parents, Paul & Gertrude Jordan; sister, Donna Alford; baby daughter, Rachel and husband, Charles White. She is survived by brother, David Jordan; Brother in-law, Tommy Alford; nephew, William Alford; son, James Conner (wife Katelyn); step-son, Brad White (wife Ashley); step-daughter, Courtney Hamilton (husband Matt); and grandson, Clay Conner.
