Vernon Dalheart Baker
July 27, 1932 — March 8, 2021
Vernon Dalheart Baker, 88, of Grantsboro passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Elma Baker; wife, Shirley McKinney Baker; brother, John Baker Jr.; and sister, Ernie Pope.
He is survived by his son, Vernon Baker, Jr. and wife, Barbara; daughter, Sharon Baker; brother, Harry Baker and wife, Melba; five grandchildren, Stephanie Greene, Craig Laughinghouse, Adam Baker, Carson Baker and Daniel Baker; and five great-grandchildren, Deven Jordan, Tyler Jordan, Shane Greene, Mia Greene and Harlie Nethercutt.
His graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021, at Paul Cemetery, Silver Hill.
