Virginia Hoffman Draughon

Virginia “Cricket” Hoffman Draughon, 101, of Oriental, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

She was a charter member of the Pamlico Presbyterian Church and a member of the Eastern Star.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lisker Draughon.

She is survived by one son, Charles L. Draughon, Sr of Oriental; one sister, Edna Whorton of Oriental; two grandchildren, Amanda and Charles Draughon, Jr and 2 great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 16 at the Pamlico Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Adam Christiansan officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at 338 Green Bay Rd., Oriental.

Flowers are appreciated but memorials made be made to the Pamlico Presbyterian Church, 1085 Kershaw Rd., Oriental, NC  28571.
