Vivian Jeanette Hardison

Vivian Jeannette Hardison, age 74, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021.  Born in Minnesott Beach on November 5, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Garvin B. and Vivian Brinson Hardison.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Hardison.

Vivian is survived by her three daughters, Kristi Brantley (Michael) of Spring Hope; Laura Davis (Kenny) of Troy, VA; and Jeana Hudgins (Jeromy) of Merritt; and her grandchildren, Kaleb, Holly, Kelsey, Kent, Tyler, Lowell, Kayden, and Bentley. She is also survived by her brothers, Garvin Hardison, Jr. (Janie) and Mark Hardison (Ruth), both of Minnesott Beach.

Vivian (also known as Jeannette) had a green thumb and a deep love for animals.  She loved to read and cook, and one of her favorite activities was crabbing on the Neuse River.

A service to celebrate Vivian’s life will be held on Saturday October 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM in the Lakeside Chapel Pavilion at Greenleaf Memorial Park, 900 River Road, New Bern, with Reverend Kenny Davis officiating.
