Walter Glenwood Popperwill, III, of Lowland passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
He was a commercial fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter “Nook Jr.” Popperwill; sister, Michelle Popperwill Price; nephew, Gregory Allen Price III; paternal grandfather, Walter Glenwood Popperwill; and maternal grandparents, William and Rose O'Brien.
He is survived by his mother, Linda O’Brien; paternal grandmother, Audrey Lupton; sisters, Pam Popperwill Ireland and Misol Alfonso; brother, Juvenal Alfonso; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., May 30th at Goose Creek Island Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bryant Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
