Wanda Simpson Nipper

Wanda Kay Simpson Nipper, 67, of Grantsboro joined her Lord and Savior on August 22, 2024.

A warrior for the Kingdom of God, she was a member of Word Fellowship Church.

Wanda was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Alfred Simpson; sons, Daniel Bryon Barnes and Huge Barnes IV; and sister, Gina Marie Brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James “Ricky” Nipper; mother, Judy Simpson; children, Benjamin Michael Barnes, Laura Kathryn Canterberry, and Melissa Nipper; and four grandchildren, Taylor Edwards Outlaw, Lily Rae Barnes, Violet Eve Barnes, and Jordan Michael Barnes.

A memorial service to honor Wanda’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Word Fellowship Church with Pastor Owen Lupton officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
