Wayne Leo Brady, 88, of Fairfield Harbor, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, at home.

Wayne was a graduate of the University of Maryland and faithfully served his country in the Korean War. He started his career with Ford Motor Company and soon after was awarded franchise authority. Wayne had several Ford dealerships in Virginia including Wayne Brady Ford, Brady Bushy Ford and others including Jeep, Chrysler and Nissan. Before retirement Wayne owned and operated an underground utility company in Northern Virginia. He and his wife, Charlotte retired in 1994, and moved to Coastal North Carolina.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Brady.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlotte H. Brady; son, Christopher Hopkins Brady; daughter, Stephanie Brady; and brothers, Carl Brady (Carol) and Kevin Brady.

His funeral service with military honors will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 6 ^th at Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
