William "Billy" Bradford Murphy
February 5, 1935 — July 14, 2022
William “Billy” Bradford Murphy, 87, of Grantsboro passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
Mr. Billy loved his profession and worked 64 years as a long-haul truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Murphy.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Moore (Elwood) and Lawana Sampson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
His graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 18 th at Sandhill Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Lewis officiating.
The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that memorial contributions be made to Daniels-Sadler Funeral Home, PO Box 99, Alliance, NC 28509.
