William "Billy" Ernest Paul

William “Billy” Ernest Paul, 84, of Alliance passed away Monday, April 15, 2024, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Mr. Billy is a U.S. Navy veteran, retired from the U.S. Civil Service-Cherry Point, and worked building numerous houses and other construction jobs after his retirement. He loved being outdoors and having a large garden every year. Even as his health declined, his family, Lauren and Kathy Lewis, helped him with many projects. Mr. Billy was also known for his talented musical abilities.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria, “Vickie” Paul; son, William Timothy “Tuggy” Paul; grandson, William Troy Paul; older brother, Clyde Harold Paul, Jr.; and sister, Joanne Paul Kemp.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, David Paul (Jennifer); granddaughter, Katie Hardison (Eric); and great-grandsons, Easton and Evan Hardison; and a multitude of friends and extended family.

His graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 20th at Cowell Cemetery, Alliance.
