William Donald Eastwood, Jr.

William Donald Eastwood, age 74, of New Bern, NC died at his home on January 28, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela R. Eastwood; his sister Mary Ellen Babcock, of Alexandria, VA; niece Vickie O’Toole, of Woodbridge, VA; nephew, Phillip H. Babcock, of Alexandria, VA; and great niece, Kelly O’Toole, of Englewood, CO.

Donald was an alumni of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He worked for 30 years for Duke University prior to retirement. He was an avid sailor, cribbage master, and loved family genealogy research. His heart was always in his hours of volunteerism with the Pamlico County Heritage Center. His love of his family, and many lifelong friends made him a very happy man.

No funeral, or memorial will be held at this time due to COVID-19 concerns. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Pamlico County Heritage Center in his honor.
