William David Hewitt “Buddy Billy”, 87, of Grantsboro passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab Center.
His passion in life was fishing. He worked as a dredge boat operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Rufus and Daphne Davenport Hewitt; brothers, Guy Earl Hewitt, Sr. “Buddy Guy Earl”, James Jennings Hewitt “Buddy Red”, Frederick Chester Hewitt “Buddy Chessy”; sisters, Eva Hewitt Cowell “Sissy Eva”, and Patricia Hewitt Hancock “Sissy Patsy”.
He is survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
