William Franklin Manning

William Franklin Manning, 77, of Reelsboro passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

A devout Christian, he was a member of Goose Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church. He retired as an electrician with IBEW and worked in the family business, Manning Plumbing, throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Annie Manning; wife, Myrtle Kay; and brother, Joel Kelly Manning.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Nancy Ringgold (Terry); son, Charles Manning (Tracy); stepsons, Eugene and Jason McRoy and their families; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.

His graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26th at Manning Cemetery, Ayden, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to Gene Therapy Center, University of NC at Chapel Hill, Attn: PKU-Genetic Disorder, 7119 Thurston Bowles CB#7352, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7352.
