In Loving Memory of Buddy Brinson

Buddy Brinson, born Young Ephram Brinson, departed this world on Wednesday, September 26, 2023. As an enrolled member of the Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Nation and a proud descendant of the Nansemond Indian Nation, Buddy's life was a tribute to his rich cultural heritage. He was the beloved son of Horace Brinson and Virginia Lee, and the cherished grandson of Annie Bass and Young Westbrook Lee.

Buddy's memory lives on through his loving wife, Diana Brinson, his devoted son Brian Meehan Brinson, his daughters Kelly Scott and Becky Harper, and his treasured granddaughters Alyssa Batts, Ryan Batts, Young Brinson, Cortney Scott, along with his grandsons, Devin Scott, and David Scott. We remember, with love, his eldest daughter, Lisa Batts, who preceded him in passing.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Buddy's life and honor his enduring legacy.

Buddy Brinson's deep connection to his heritage, unwavering love for family, and warm spirit will forever be etched in our hearts. We find solace in knowing he is now at peace, reunited with his loved ones in the embrace of eternity.
