Kitty Allen Casey

Kitty Allen Casey, 95, of Stonewall went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Grantsbrook Nursing & Rehab.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. Allen and Eva Lee Riggs; husband, James Milton Casey; sons, Larry Milton Casey and Jimmy Wayne Casey; granddaughters, Melonie Paulette Williams and Anita Gail Casey.

She is survived by her children, Rita Edwards (Albert Earl) of Stonewall, Terry Gene Casey of Aurora, Rachel Williams (Joey) of New Bern, Jerry Casey (Cathy) of Reelsboro and Sherry Casey (Ray Ipock) of Newport; 11 grandchildren; 24 great and two great-great grandchildren; two special nieces, Eva Jefferson and Pauline Gurrera.

She volunteered as a gray lady at the hospital for several years and delivered meals on wheels. She was a charter member of the Ina Gaskins Circle and served as an officer for many years.

She loved to sew and cook for others and did so for many years. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by many.

Her memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16 ^th at Stonewall United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carol Grantham and Rev. Michael Register officiating.

The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
